We are a small botanical garden that features mostly native Hawaiian plants
and plants introduced to Hawaii by the Polynesians when they first arrived.
We have a plant in our garden and its identification is disputed. It is about 4 feet (120 cm) tall.
Some think it is a Alocasia, known locally as ape. Others are not sure. Everyone who sees it has a different opinion.
