Lysichiton americanus

Hultén & H. St. John 1931

This species blooms before leafing. Spathes are yellow.
I've got it in 2001. It survived the winter outdoors.

The germ appeared in the middle of March.	This is how it looked in May 2002.
In 2004 it became a little chlorotic, I had to repot it and fertilize. (It grew in a pot dug in the ground, for me to be sure where it was).
4 years of cultivation and still no inflorescence.
