Homalomena insignis

N.E. Brown 1885

I bought it as an Aglaonema in an aquaristic shop.
It is native to Sarawak in Malaysia. It's been identified by Peter Boyce.

	It must have grown underwater before I bought it. When I planted it into a pot it couldn't resist the dry air and died. The petioles and the bottom side of the leaves are red.
