Cryptocoryne wendtii

Comes from Sri Lanka. It is 10-25 cm tall.
It was described 1958 and named for the memory of a botanist A. Wendt deceased that year.

	Red-leafed form (above) and green-leafed one (left) Many species of Cryptocoryne are variable, the main difference is the colour of the leaves, but also inflorescences and the general habit. Plants cultivated emerse look usually different than growing underwater.
