Anthurium crystallinum

Linden & André 1873

This species belongs to the section Cardiolonchium. It has velvety decorative leaves.
Its veins are thicker than in A. clarinervium, but the inflorescences are similar.

The plant as I got it in June 2006 from a botanic garden.
After a month it began to put up new leaves. The young leaves are small and brown, they grow up when they unfold.
These 2 photos were taken half a year later.
